Returning in 2026, ALT: GAMES is a Powerhouse initiative to celebrate games that brings together the Australian gaming industry and community. Powerhouse is looking for both video and tabletop games from independent developers to be part of the festival’s games showcase ALT: PLAY. We are looking to showcase games that highlight unique stories, design and practice, and champions the significance of gaming across diverse audiences.
We welcome applications from both emerging and established developers. Games will be selected by an industry panel, and successful applicants will receive an honorarium to be part of ALT: PLAY.
