Program Curator

The Program Curator supports and coordinates public programming, co-production, festival, and partnerships programming. The role is responsible for working collaboratively with teams across the Museum, advocating for, developing, and delivering programs. The role links programs nationally and internationally across the museum sector and specific industries to ensure a dynamic program is co-designed with industry and community. Conservator 2, Variable Media

We are looking for an experienced Conservator to coordinate and undertake the preservation and conservation of variable media in the Powerhouse Collection. The Variable Media Conservator has an in-depth knowledge of the technical requirements of equipment needed for digitising analogue and preservation of born-digital objects. They also contribute to and lead on developing strategies, procedures and workflows to support the preservation of objects in the Collection.

AV Technician

We are looking for casual AV Technicians to manage activities to successfully deliver exhibitions, programs and events across all Powerhouse sites, including Ultimo, Parramatta, Castle Hill, and Sydney Observatory. The AV Technician works collaboratively with internal project teams to deliver seamless technical solutions.

The Draftsperson supports the Senior Draftsperson with schematic documentation, planning and production of detailed concept, prototype, construction, mount making and lighting drawings, layouts, 3D renders and sketches for our exhibitions, displays, installations and all other projects. This role will translate exhibition designs into drawings for tendering and construction. This includes identifying, developing and maintaining the Powerhouse standards of drafting documentation excellence.
