We are seeking a highly experienced Registrar to join our dynamic teams at the Powerhouse. This role undertakes registration activities relating to the preparation of collection objects for the exhibition program as directed by the manager, Exhibitions Registration and Senior Registrar. The Registrar implements Museum policies, processes, and procedures encompassing collection administration, stores and logistics, documentation, and exhibitions.

Technology Operations Partner

This role is part of a team of three Partners working across Powerhouse precincts and reports directly to the Head of ICT Operations. The Technology Operations Partner is responsible for ensuring the standard and consistency of technology used by visitors, the community, and the workforce across all Powerhouse locations. The roles are highly skilled and client-focused, dedicated to implementing and responding to technology requirements and issues, with an emphasis on meeting client needs.

The Senior Facilities Engineering Coordinator plays a key role in advancing the Powerhouse renewal, ensuring compliance, improving efficiency, and coordinating electrical, mechanical, fire, and vertical transport systems across all Powerhouse sites. The role provides expert technical support while monitoring and managing electrical, mechanical, fire, vertical transport, equipment, systems, and plant, while ensuring adherence to museum best practices and heritage standards and contributes to the preservation of the museum’s collections and exhibitions.

Draftsperson

The Draftsperson supports the Senior Draftsperson with schematic documentation, planning and production of detailed concept, prototype, construction, mount making and lighting drawings, layouts, 3D renders and sketches for our exhibitions, displays, installations and all other projects. This role will translate exhibition designs into drawings for tendering and construction. This includes identifying, developing and maintaining the Powerhouse standards of drafting documentation excellence.

The Editor Website & Digital Content is responsible for editing, managing, uploading, and publishing content on the Powerhouse website and digital platforms. The role is responsible for content management, stakeholder coordination, quality assurance, and the implementation of SEO best practices. It also involves optimising content, monitoring website performance, ensuring compliance, and providing creative input, including advice on design and layout as required.
