Terms and Conditions govern ticket purchases and event registrations made with the Museum of Applied Arts and Sciences for any event or program at Powerhouse sites.

Public Interest Disclosures
The Public Interest Disclosures Act 2022 (PID Act) (opens in new tab) applies to all NSW public sector agencies. It provides a framework for public officials to report serious wrongdoing in the public sector, and to be protected when they do so.
Aboriginal & Torres Strait Islander Advice
Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples are advised that the Powerhouse website contains a range of Indigenous Cultural Material. This includes artworks, artifacts, images and recordings of people who may have passed away, and other objects which may be culturally sensitive.

Policies and Plans
Powerhouse is committed to publishing a range of plans and policies that are relevant to its activities and meet regulatory and legislative requirements.
- Plans are the detailed proposals or strategies that Powerhouse has put in place to achieve specific goals or objectives.
- Policies are formal, high-level statements that reflect the guiding principles and rules of Powerhouse.
Protection of Cultural Objects on Loan Scheme
The Australian Government’s Protection of Cultural Objects on Loan Scheme (PCOL Scheme) administers the Commonwealth Protection of Cultural Objects on Loan Act 2013 (opens in new tab) (the Act). The Act was established to encourage international lenders to lend works for temporary public exhibition in Australia.
Powerhouse and PCOL
Powerhouse is an approved borrowing institution under the Protection of Cultural Objects on Loan Act and is responsible for upholding the integrity of the PCOL Scheme, ensuring best practice procedures are followed on each borrowing occasion.
