Architectures of Bankstown
This exhibition at Bankstown Arts Centre will feature works by 21 Masters of Architecture and Industrial Design students from Western Sydney University. On show will be designs for architectural interventions based on investigations of Bankstown's multicultural urban centre. These works will be accompanied by a display of models and renders of recent architectural projects shaping the future of the Canterbury-Bankstown area.
Architectures of Bankstown is the culmination of the Western Sydney University Urban Transformation Summer School, an annual program exploring the evolving urban landscapes of Western Sydney supported by Holdmark and facilitated by Powerhouse Parramatta. The exhibition has been developed in partnership with Bankstown Arts Centre.
On Saturday 24 May from 1–4pm, Bankstown Arts Centre will host an Architectures of Bankstown public symposium.
