Simione Sevudredre is a leader in cultural advocacy and consultancy. His work aims to mediate and represent Fijian traditional knowledge and culture for communities and stakeholders locally, regionally and internationally. Sevudredre is dedicated to empowering Indigenous women, youth, children and leaders by leveraging social cohesion and contextualised cultural practices in the arts and culture, rights, education and health.
Matavai Pacific Cultural Arts is based in South Western Sydney and run by Maryjane and Frederick Schwenke. For more than 10 years, they have been promoting the teaching of positive fundamental aspects of Pacific culture through dance, music, language and the creative arts.
