Join We Are Studios co-founders Ebony Wightman and Jordan Valageorgiou for a discussion on the development and impact of their 100% Disability-led, artist-run organisation based in Western Sydney. This conversation considers what becomes possible when Deaf and Disabled people have the authority to build, lead and transform the cultural institutions of the future. Wightman and Valageorgiou will reflect on the making of We Are Studios, the urgency behind its work and its commitment to developing a Disability-led cultural workforce with the capacity to create lasting change.

The partnership between Powerhouse and We Are Studios opens a new chapter, where Disability-led practice is not simply entering the museum, but helping shape what the museum becomes and what it carries forward.
