If your group does not include any children, we recommend Sydney Observatory Tours. Children must be accompanied by an adult.
Viewing of astronomical objects depends on cloud cover, time of day and date. In the event of wet weather, the tour may be cancelled and payment refunded. Guests will be notified of a cancellation via email four hours before the tour.
Companion Cards: Visitors wishing to use a companion card may book their ticket via our contact centre on (02) 9217 0111 available from 10am–5pm, 7 days.
Tours include more than a hundred stairs. Some areas are inaccessible to less mobile visitors and wheelchair users. For accessibility queries, please contact us.

After climbing the building’s narrow staircases, you'll step inside the Observatory's domes to see historic and modern telescopes in action. From this location you can get spectacular views across Sydney Harbour and see terrestrial objects through a telescope.
