Developed in collaboration with Powerhouse as part of Powerhouse Photography, this collaborative project will focus on the relationship between people, built environment and public spaces of Western Sydney.

Western Sydney Photography Commission

We are seeking applicants with strong Western Sydney networks who will work with Powerhouse to engage with individuals from diverse backgrounds to participate in the project. The outcome will be a photographic and oral record of stories, memories, and experiences related to locations of significance for the communities of Western Sydney.

Powerhouse invited expressions of interest for this paid opportunity from both emerging and established practitioners working in a range of photography disciplines, including but not limited to commercial, documentary, portrait, fashion and editorial. Applications for this program are now closed.
