Carl Nielsen Design Accelerator

The annual Carl Nielsen Design Accelerator, supported by a generous bequest from Carl and Judy Nielsen, recognises achievement by Australian industrial designers working in sustainable design. Applications for 2023 are now closed.

Powerhouse Photography

Powerhouse Photography is an annual program made possible through funds generously donated by the Australian Centre for Photography. It includes a photography research fellowship, tertiary internship program, contemporary photography acquisition program and an industry day.

Countryside

Regional Communities

Since 1889 Powerhouse has been engaging with regional communities through object loans, knowledge sharing, public programming, co-productions and exhibition partnerships. The Regional Stakeholder Forum will be returning 30 November 2023.
