Capture, edit and project your own audiovisual work in this free three-day projection mapping workshop with multidisciplinary artist Scott Baker.

Projection mapping is a technique to project video footage onto surfaces, such as buildings or other large objects, to create impressive displays.

In this immersive opportunity, Baker will take students through the process of capturing, editing and rigging for video-projected installations. Utilising smart devices and accessible software, students will create their own audiovisual works followed by an introduction to video projection mapping and VJing. This workshop will prepare participants to develop and present a live video projection event for their family and friends.

Artist

Based in Bermagui on Djiringanj land of the Yuin Nation on the south coast of New South Wales, Scott Baker is a multidisciplinary digital artist working with live audiovisual performance and installation, including large-scale video projections. His work explores site-specific responses to life, the universe and everything in between.
