Smartphone filmmaking for young people with Angela Blake. Powerhouse Museum Creative Studio, in partnership with TAFE NSW, is giving Western Sydney students the opportunity to dive into the basics of smartphone filmmaking with Angela Blake, co-founder and director of SF3 – SmartFone Flick Fest, the largest film festival in the world dedicated to smartphone filmmaking.

In this 3-day workshop students will have the opportunity to develop, write, direct and edit a short film using smartphone and tablet devices.

Angela Blake is an accomplished emerging director and writer in film and theatre. Through SF3’s education program, Angela Blake has taught smartphone filmmaking and storytelling to students in all corners of metro and regional Australia, and internationally. SF3 has been ranked by American Express as one of 12 international film festivals worth travelling to, alongside Cannes and Sundance.
