Join Powerhouse media technology manager Owen Conlan and senior AV technician Jessica James-Moody for a workshop on the basics of installing audio visual displays in your exhibitions.

Learn from their wealth of experience working with AV to build on your practical knowledge, including safety best practices and technology choices. Jess and Owen will also explain the pros and cons of using two common AV playback and control technologies: Raspberry Pi and BrightSign.

This workshop is designed for staff and volunteers working in museums and the collecting sector. The session will conclude with a one-hour tour of one of our storage areas led by a museum registrar.
