Join one of Western Sydney’s most respected chefs Ben Nguyen (Hải Âu Làng Nướng, Canley Vale), in conversation with food journalist Lee Tran Lam and food content creator Kevin La, for a live Vietnamese cooking demonstration exploring the techniques, flavours and family stories behind his signature dishes. This demonstration includes a tasting.
The program is accompanied by a debut screening of Family DINEasties – a new series that follows 8 longstanding family-run eateries across Western Sydney, presented in collaboration with SBS Food. In the series chef Kylie Kwong AM, food content creator Kevin La and SBS Food celebrate the vibrant legacy of Chinese, Southeast Asian and Korean culinary culture.
Recommended for ages 12+. Under 16s must be accompanied by a participating adult.
This event ticket includes free entry to the museum and 4 exhibitions: The Mall, The Dark, Overflow and Es Devlin: The Turning.
