Making Of: Kahu Waka Siva

The opening program of Powerhouse Parramatta will feature incredible new works by artists of Pacific heritage including the watercraft Te Waka Whakakotahi (Waka of Unity) led by artist Peter Elers, a cross-cultural Kahu Kurī cloak by artist Keren Ruki and a new ceremonial dance work developed by Matavai Pacific Cultural Arts and partners. Hear from these creators as they discuss the many hours, hands and memories involved in creating these meaningful, large-scale works.
