Forty years after the 1986 Sydney exhibition that launched his career, Marc Newson returns to the ideas, experiments and technical ambitions that have defined four decades of design. In a rare Australian public appearance, he reflects on landmark works held at Powerhouse – the world’s largest collection of his designs – and on the restless pursuit of innovative forms, materials and methods that continues to drive his practice.
