Every journey into the sky begins with uncertainty. This panel brings together record-breaking aviator Dick Smith AC, astronaut and polar explorer Eric Philips OAM, pilot Gaby Kennard OAM and rocket entrepreneur Adam Gilmour. Each of these remarkable Australians will share their stories of risk taking, setbacks and split-second decisions, reminding us that great achievements begin with the courage to leave the ground.
