The Pride: Jin Wu Koon

Enjoy the colour and spectacle of Chinese lion and dragon dance in a major new performance created with Jin Wu Koon to celebrate the opening of Powerhouse Parramatta.

A bespoke collection of Chinese lion and dragon dance costumes have been commissioned by the Powerhouse including 3 traditional Fut San lions, 2 modern lions, plus a colossal dragon and lion. Each costume reflects a connection to ancient traditions and the evolution of cultures in contemporary Australia. Following these performances, the costumes will be acquired into the Powerhouse Collection (opens in new tab).
