Transform a museum exhibition from a concept to reality in this creative and hands-on full-day design workshop. Students will learn about the creative and technical processes involved in making an exhibition come to life, go behind the scenes of the Powerhouse Collection (opens in new tab) and uncover the stories behind objects. Guided by Powerhouse curators and taking inspiration from the Collection, participants will realise their idea for a curated exhibition design.
About
Powerhouse Academy is a new program of school holiday workshops launched in April 2025. This accessible event series focused on Western Sydney brings together young people and connects them with the Powerhouse Collection (opens in new tab) along with experts from industry and academia.
