The Rotuman language is listed in the UNESCO Atlas of the World’s Languages in Danger of Disappearing. Through songs and cultural dance, Sydney-based communities continue language and cultural practices. Ruerue 'e vasa highlights some of these stories in preparation for Rotuma Day celebrations. Featuring Motofaga Fonmanu, Rina Tam, Adi Varanise Vukidonu, Hupfeld Hoerder, Avaiki Konousi and Joseph Morris and the Sydney Rotuman Community Incorporated.
