Using fermentation as a medium, join us for a warm discussion with Korean theatremaker Jaha Koo which will explore the way we carry our homes with us through the food we eat, the stories we share, and the rituals we preserve. Followed by an interactive kimchi demonstration with Korean cook, fermenter and coffee roaster Yujin Kim.

Festival Director Kris Nelson is joined by esteemed artists Billy Bain, S. Shakthidharan and Vanessa Marian for a generous talk about the ideas, questions and new works beginning to take shape – alongside a live cooking demonstration by Bangali home-cook Shishir. Each guest leaves with a sweet treat to takeaway into the Festival frenzy!
