Join us for the launch of Powerhouse Materials: Paper with renowned children’s author Andy Griffiths, the mastermind behind the best-selling book series Just! And the Treehouse series.
See Andy’s selection of Powerhouse Collection objects and meet Andy in person for a talk and Q&A. He’s promised to answer all questions truthfully but, be warned, if he doesn’t know the answer he’ll just make something up.
Powerhouse Materials is a new series exploring the Powerhouse Collection through the lens of a guest curator and a chosen material.

12.30pm A behind the scenes look at the Powerhouse paper collection and the Collection storage spaces where we house over 500,000 objects. Recommended for adults and children over 5 years of age.

Self-Guided Activity
10am–3pm Pick up a free, self-guided activity book, designed in collaboration with Andy. It’s filled with creative prompts and challenges for visitors to develop their own illustrations and stories inspired by the exhibition.
