Nik Sharma presents a lecture, tasting and Q&A in the Vitocco Family Kitchen exploring the cultural and scientific forces that shape how we cook, eat and understand flavour. A molecular biologist, chef, writer and educator, Sharma brings together food science, personal storytelling and an accessible, contemporary approach to home cooking.
Hosted by Nick Jordan, this lecture provides an insight into Sharma’s approach to recipe development, flavour science and the cultural influences that inform his work. Drawing from his cookbooks, writing and wider food media practice, Sharma reflects on how scientific thinking can deepen our understanding of ingredients, technique and taste.
This program will be followed by an exclusive book signing, where guests have the opportunity to purchase Fundamentals of Flavor and have it signed by Nik Sharma.
