FreeStandard 5–12 years and adults
This free drop-in activity is designed for children 5–12 years and adults.
Adult supervision is required during the workshop.
Siblings and younger children are welcome, though please note there will be small and sharp objects available in the space, as well as loud sounds.
This summer school holidays, join us at Powerhouse Castle Hill to experience Dick Smith: First Solo Helicopter Flight (opens in new tab), showcasing the iconic Bell 206B Jetranger III helicopter and newly digitised Super 8 footage.
Take inspiration from the Super 8 footage and join this hands-on workshop to learn the art of tin punching as you create your unique bird’s-eye view map, retracing and imagining your journey to the museum that day.
