Logotype Guidelines

Detail of Powerhouse Logotype Identity
Detail of Powerhouse Logotype Identity

The Powerhouse logotype is typeset in Cambium and features chamfered counterforms (corners cut at a 45 degree angle). It is inspired by two wood type specimens found in the Powerhouse Collection: Superior machine-cut wood type and DeLittle's wood type specimens.

MINIMUM SIZE

To maintain optimum reproduction in screen and print environments, do not use logotype below minimum size.

CONTRAST

Clarity of the logotype is achieved by ensuring it contrasts with the background.
The logotype should appear in black or white.

Clearspace

When the logotype is required to appear together with partners’ logos, the suggested minimum spacing is based upon the 2x cap height. Powerhouse should appear with equal visual weighting.
