CALLING WESTERN SYDNEY ARTISTS: APPLICATIONS OPEN FOR $25,000 GENERATIONS MUSIC FELLOWSHIP
Applications are now open for early career musicians, songwriters, producers and composers from Western Sydney to apply for the Generations – Western Sydney Music Fellowship, a program supporting emerging artists in the NSW music industry.
Delivered in a partnership between Powerhouse, Sound NSW and Blacktown Arts, the fellowship offers two early career musicians or bands a six-month residency including $25,000 in financial support, professional mentorships and studio space in Blacktown.
The fellowship connects unsigned musicians with established industry professionals, fostering intergenerational knowledge and experience. Fellows will engage with musicians, songwriters, producers, agents, record labels and publishing executives while developing entrepreneurial skills, showcasing their work and expanding their networks.
