About Monte Fresco Cheese

Sam Montalto grew up surrounded by the traditions of Italian cheesemaking. In 1959, Sam’s father brought his family’s Sicilian expertise to Australia and introduced ricotta to the local market. Inspired by his father, Sam founded Monte Fresco Cheese in 2015, carrying forward his family's heritage with a deep respect for traditional methods and an unwavering passion for authentic flavours.
