Join Powerhouse senior curator Katie Dyer in a 45-minute webinar about the exhibition A Line A Web A World.

A Line A Web A World presents nearly 230 works and traverses thousands of years while refusing hierarchical definitions of what a drawing can be.

It is the first in-depth look at drawings in the Powerhouse Collection and focuses on why we draw.

Drawings are an integral part of the creative process for many people, from children and artists, to designers, architects, engineers, cartographers, mathematicians and scientists.

Katie will elaborate on a range of creative and material approaches to drawing, exploring how drawings can capture intimacy and immediacy of thought and gesture, and how they are enmeshed in so many facets of life.

Katie Dyer is senior curator, contemporary at Powerhouse, where she leads and develops creative cross-disciplinary contemporary curatorial programming. She has extensive experience working with established and emerging artists and historical collections.
