Join Roberto Padoan, Lead Conservator in Preventive and Research at Powerhouse Museum, for a 45-minute free webinar on best practice for handling a variety of museum objects.

Roberto will share practical advice and demonstrate how to handle collection objects correctly, whether you're planning to install or uninstall a display, arrange objects for cleaning or move objects in your storage area.

This webinar is designed for staff and volunteers of museums and the collecting sector. A 30-minute presentation will be followed by a 15-minute Q+A session. The webinar is free, but booking is essential. You may wish to pre-register your questions to the Conservator when you book your ticket.

Speaker

Roberto holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Conservation of Library Materials from University of Rome – Tor Vergata, and a Master of Research from University College London. With more than twenty years’ experience in the field of conservation and heritage science he was previously employed at Artlab Australia as Principal Conservator Paper & Books, the Rijksmuseum, the Dutch National Archives and the Vatican Archives.
