Powerhouse Future Space: Student Showcase

As part of the Powerhouse: Future Space Program, a panel of industry experts will select one student-designed experiment to be further developed and launched to the International Space Station (ISS) in early 2024. Students will learn from keynote speakers, Australian astronomer Karlie Noon and ESA astronaut reserve Dr Meganne Christian. Students will have the chance to engage with space industry professionals and participate in hands-on workshops.

Participating schools are Arthur Phillip High School, Casula High School, East Hills Girls High School, Hurlstone Agricultural High School, Jamison High School and Seven Hills High School.

Primary school students, as part of the Powerhouse: Future Space Mentoring Program, supported by Investment NSW, will also participate the workshops and engage with industry professionals. These schools are: Edmondson Park Public School, Prestons Public School and Seven Hills North Public School.
