A free evening of music, performance, visuals and curator-led tours drawing on the creative talents of authors featured in the new Powerhouse Publishing title 1001 Remarkable Objects.

BOOK LAUNCH
6.30pm
Join us as we celebrate the launch of the latest title from Powerhouse Publishing, 1001 Remarkable Objects, a companion to the eponymous exhibition that features new writing commissions from more than a dozen Australian authors.
PERFORMANCES
7–9pm
Experience musical and spoken word performances from some of the authors featured in new publication 1001 Remarkable Objects. Featuring live performances by DOBBY and Christa Hughes with a recorded performance by Omar Musa.
EXHIBITION TOURS
5.30pm
Join a curator-led tour of the 1001 Remarkable Objects by Eva Czernis-Ryl. The largest exhibition ever produced by Powerhouse Museum, it presents an unexpected juxtaposition of objects in 25 rooms that lead us on a journey across time and memory.
VISUALS
5–9pm
Large scale projections will feature 32 still life images produced by photographer Lauren Bamford in collaboration with art director and stylist Sarah Pritchard, commissioned by Powerhouse for the 1001 Remarkable Objects publication.
