Located in Sydney, Powerhouse is the largest museum group in Australia. It sits at the intersection of the arts, design, science and technology and plays a critical role in engaging communities with contemporary ideas and issues. Powerhouse Parramatta opens 7 November.

Powerhouse is custodian to more than half a million objects of national and international significance and considered one of the finest and most diverse collections in the world. For the first time in the museum's 140 year history, the entire Powerhouse Collection (opens in new tab) is housed in the one location. It includes the Powerhouse Archives comprised of hundreds of Collected Archives and the Powerhouse Institutional Archives, which date from 1880.
