Each year the Academy program will offer 10,000 places for high school students from Greater Sydney, regional, interstate and international locations to participate in immersive STEM programs.

These programs connect to the NSW curriculum and are developed in collaboration with the Department of Education, industry leaders, researchers and other cultural institutions.

Students will participate in unique experiences beyond the classroom, including direct interactions with local and international scientists, researchers and industry leaders; and opportunities to explore the history and practical application of STEM via the Powerhouse Collection and exhibition program.

The Academy at Powerhouse Parramatta will champion the importance of accessible education and help develop the next generation of Australian innovators, scientists and entrepreneurs.

The Lang Walker Family Academy is a leap forward in educational platforms, fostering engagement and collaboration among students before participating in the Academy at Powerhouse Parramatta. It also gives Academy Alumni ongoing access to STEM resources, digital programs and experts.
