Providing subsidised work space for NSW-based practitioners and organisations of the applied arts and sciences that reflect the diversity of the Powerhouse Collection.

The Powerhouse Residency Program, located at Powerhouse Ultimo, provides subsidised workspace for NSW-based practitioners and organisations across the applied arts and sciences that reflect the diversity of the Powerhouse Collection.
In exchange for this subsidy, the Resident will collaborate with Powerhouse to deliver programs.

Application Process
Stage 1: Site visit
Applicants are required to attend a site visit to view the spaces available. Please register for your preferred site visit.
Stage 2: Submit an application
Provide an application of no more than two pages that contains the following information:
- A statement on your current practice, its alignment to Powerhouse and the expected outcomes that the Residency will assist in achieving.
- Short biography / CV.
- Intended use of space and occupancy (eg five days a week).
- Description of space requirements (eg access to water, quiet, natural light, ventilation and estimated size requirements or indicative space preference).
- Your proposed contribution to the Powerhouse Program. Programs may include talks, workshops, learning, digital or other engagements.
- Up to five high-resolution images / examples of your recent practice.
- Please supply two written references including the referees’ contact information.
