Join Powerhouse registrars Bronwyn McKenzie and Yasmin Green for a workshop on the dilemma of legacy issues in a collection.

If you have any undocumented objects in your collection, or objects that are unrelated to your collection policy, this workshop provides useful steps to resolve the predicament.

Bronwyn and Yasmin will also cover procedures for dealing with old uncollected loans and unidentified objects, and offer strategies for how to approach these issues. The workshop will touch on defining your museum’s collection policy to mitigate the risk of unwanted donated objects. The session will conclude with a one-hour tour of one of our storage areas, led by a museum registrar.
