The Five Hundred Arhats, enlightened disciples of the Buddha, were discovered among the ruins of the Changnyeongsa Temple in South Korea and are believed to be 600–1000 years old. This exhibition featured one Buddha and 50 arhat statues with remarkably lifelike expressions. Produced in collaboration with the Chuncheon National Museum of Korea.
