Join the renowned Sydney signwriter and designer, Will Lynes, for a family-friendly workshop. Lynes specialises in glass gilding, hand-painted signwriting, lettering, and decorative glass processes.

During the workshop, Lynes will guide groups through his favourite typographic style of block lettering and share tips and tricks to help create designs.

The workshop begins with an introduction to the rich history of signwriting, followed by a visit to the A Line, A Web, A World exhibition to see Lynes’ signwriting in action. Participants will then get to practice hands-on and learn the fundamentals of the art form.

This 90-minute workshop is recommended for ages 8 and up. Children must be accompanied by an adult, although one adult may accompany multiple children within a small group. Bookings for all participants (children and adults) are essential.

Family workshops are designed to create conversations between adults and young learners in a shared environment. They make a platform for learning to continue at home.
