Mars and Jupiter continue to grace the evening sky.

Mars is in the north, moving from Cancer to Leo during the last week of the month. On 3 May, the crescent Moon is below and to the left or west of Mars, while the next evening the Moon, now at first quarter, is still below but to the right or east of the planet.
