Workshop participants will get to build, code and drive their own remote controlled car created with BBC micro:bit bricks.

The BBC micro:bit is a pocket-sized computer which introduces physical computing and coding using a block-like interface. It is a great tool for learning the basics of coding while having fun with robotics.

Intergenerational groups will be guided through each step of building a car out of toy bricks, coding its movement and taking it for a test drive.

This 2-hour family-friendly workshop is designed to encourage conversations between young learners and adults that establish a framework for learning to continue at home.
