All ticketed participants will be provided with a computer and access to an exclusive Minecraft world developed by Powerhouse, which is safe, private and accessible only to participants in the workshop.
Participants are asked to bring their own lunch and a hat as lunchtime activities may take place outdoors.
Young players will simulate real world science with Minecraft Education Edition exclusive features, exploring and creating with the chemistry set. Participants will discover what elements make up different materials in the game using the material reducer and then craft new items such as balloons, sparklers and underwater torches with the lab table. Working together, players will use these new skills to create their own science-themed build.
This full day workshop uses Minecraft Education Edition, a game-based learning platform that promotes creativity, collaboration and problem-solving in an immersive digital environment.
