Nathan Silm is a fourth generation family farmer at Cedar Creek Orchard. His entrepreneurial approach to the family business has seen it shift from fruit production to juice manufacturing and into the world of cider. Join Nathan on a personal tour of the orchard, and experience the cider manufacturing and bottling process, finishing with a tasting of Cedar Creek Orchard ciders and juices.

About Cedar Creek Orchard

Cedar Creek Orchard is a 45 hectare property located just outside of Picton. A former poultry farm, the land was purchased by Hugo Silm, an Estonian immigrant, in 1937 and the first apple trees planted in 1940. Today the orchard has 23,000 fruit trees producing apples, peaches, nectarines and persimmons. The family-run business has been making juice since the 1960s and creating premium cider since 2019.
